From Mission Parks Funeral Chapels:

It is with deep sadness that the family of Gerry Morgner announces his passing at the age of 71. He was born to Anna Winslow on June 28th, 1939 in Germany. He was an engineer and worked with Frederich Air Conditioning, American Lantern, Gesco and Bard.

He is preceded in death by his step-father Dale Winslow and grandson Jonathon. He is survived by his wife Dorothy, mother Anna, daughters Laura Lange, Debra Marshall & husband James, Heather Keylich & husband Wes, sons William Morgner and Toby Deal, grandsons Jason, Christopher, Eric * Ryan, granddaughters Lauren, Fayth and Emily, great grandsons Russell & Hazen and numerous nieces and nephews.

Gerry was a devout Christian man who always put family first. He handled his four month hospitalization after pancreatic cancer surgery with the utmost dignity and grace. We would like to express our sincere appreciation to the staff of the Downtown Baptist Hospital and to Select Specialty Hospital for their devotion and care given to our sweet Gerry during his stay with them. He was an honorable, intelligent and extremely funny man and will be missed by all who loved him.
