Birth: Dec. 9, 1830
Gibson County
Indiana, USA
Death: Dec. 1, 1868
Oregon, USA

Nancy Jane was the daughter of Rawley Rollo Morgan and Elizabeth (Sayre) Morgan.

She was the 1st wife of James Black Day. They were both pioneers of Oregon state. Nancy and James were married 07 August 1860 in Indiana and then commenced their journey to Oregon where three children were born:

1. Francis Marion "Frank" Day, b. 1861, d. 1941. He married Dora Bell Wade in Multnomah County, Oregon. They later moved to Washington state where they died and are buried.
2. Minnie Day, b. 06 Oct 1865 in Multnomah County, Oregon. She married Patrick E. Stafford in 1885 in Clackamas County, Oregon. They moved to Minnesota where she had nine children and is probably buried.
3. Herbert Day, b. 10 April 1867 d. 15 October 1867 in Multnomah County, Oregon.

It is believed that Nancy Jane died due to complications from the birth of Herbert Day. I would believe that "little" Herbert Day would be buried near her but have seen no mention in any transcription of "Lone Fir Cemetery".
