Mrs. Howard Brand Dies Following Lengthy Illness
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon of last week at Amity, for Mrs. Howard Brand who died Tuesday, Oct. 1, at Sanatorium where she was carried a few weeks ago in hopes of prolonging her life.
The Rev. D D Satterwhite, pastor of the Houston Baptist Church, officiated with the Houston Funeral Home in charge.
Mrs. Brand was before her marriage to Mr. Brand, Lovey Dale Morgan, daughter of Mr. J P Morgan and the late Mrs. Morgan of Sparta. She was a member of the Baptist Church.
Besides her father and husband, she leaves six children, one an infant of a few weeks, and the oldest, 12 years of age.
