Mr. David M. Morgan, Jr., 51, died suddenly Wednesday (October 17, 2007) at Satilla Regional Medical Center.
He was a native of Ware County and lifelong resident of Millwood. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Miller Morgan, Sr. and Nora Vae Sills Morgan and a brother, Talmadge Morgan. He attended Mt. Green Church of God of Prophecy. He was a farmer and owner of D&D Barbecue in Millwood.
The survivors include his wife, Lynn Thomas Morgan of Millwood; 2 Daughters, Rhianna Vining (husband Jason) and Miranda Morgan both of Millwood; 1 Son, David Morgan III (wife Megan) of Millwood; 3 Grandchildren, Dalton Vining, Kaitlyn Vining and Madison Morgan; 3 Sisters, Cassie Sikes (husband Jerry), Dorothy Puckett (husband Jody) both of Waycross and Linda Nelson of Blackshear; 2 Brothers, Bobby Morgan (wife Geraldine) of Waycross and Larry Morgan (wife Linda) of Millwood.
A funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Saturday (October 20, 2007) at Mt. Green Church of God of Prophecy. The burial will be in Mt. Green Cemetery. The family will receive friends Friday from 5 p.m. until at Mt. Green Church of God of Prophecy.
