At the county clerk's office today a marriage license was issued to Pliny J. Smith of this city and Miss Grace Oliver of Bloomington. It is understood that the wedding is to take place this evening.
Pliny Smith is widely known in Decatur. For three years he was employed as a reporter on the Decatur Review and has many friends in the city. About a week ago he resigned his position on the newspaper to leave the first of the year for Alabama, where his father, A. F. Smith, is opening the Health and Wealth colony. Miss Oliver is a young lady of Bloomington and for some time past has been in the city visiting friends. The fact that Pliny is to be married will be a surprise to his many friends.
