Mrs. Agnes (Morehouse) Bartlett, 85, formerly of 508 S. Grant St., West Lafayette, died at the Comfort Convalescent Home at 2:40 a.m. on Thursday April 30. She had been a patient at the home since 1964.
She was born and reared near Badger Grove, Ind.and moved to West Lafayette in 1909. She was married to Charles Bartlett in 1923, who died in 1962. He was a retired carpenter and construction worker.
She was a member of the Lafayette Federated Church and active in the Lafayettte Baptist Church.
She is survived by one son, David, West Lafayette; a sister, Mrs. Leola Hoch of Mulberry; and one brother Otis E. Morehouse, West Lafayette; one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Funeral services were conducted from the Soller-Baker Funeral West Chapel at 10:30 a.m. on Monday with the Rev. Francis W. Trimmer officiating. Burial was in the Grandview Cemetery.
