Eleanor Louise Morehouse Arihood, 88, died at 1:40 AM Saturday, Jan. 19, 2002, at Rosewalk Village. Born Dec. 10, 1913, in Tippecanoe County, she was a life resident of the county and a 1932 graduate of Klondike High School. She also graduated from International Business College at Fort Wayne.

Her marriage was to Robert L. Arihood on August 23, 1941 in Lafayette; he preceded her in death in February 1997.

Mrs. Arihood had worked in the Tippecanoe County Auditors Office and the Tippecanoe County Treasurers Office, from which she retired. She was a member of Order of Eastern Star, and was a former member of Mount Zion United Methodist Church.

Surviving are two sons, Leslie D. Arihood of Indianapolis and Robert E. Arihood of New York City; and a sister, Betty Ray of Lafayette. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Vincent L. Morehouse and Ralph L. Morehouse.
