Altoona Mirror, 6 May 1914:

"Mrs. John Ermire

The many friends of Mrs. John Ermire (nee Mary Moran), formerly of this city, will be pained to learn of her death, which occurred at her home in Long Island city, New York, last night at 11:30 o'clock. The remains will be brought to Altoona on the 7:30 train Friday morning, to be taken direct to Hollidaysburg. Funeral services will be held at St. Mary's church at 8:30. Interment in St. Mary's cemetery."
