Mrs. Butner was born Sept. 7, 1923, in Nashville, Mo., to Theo S. and Dorothy L. (Webb) Morain, who are deceased. She was married Sept. 10, 1950, to Thomas M. Butner Jr., who is deceased.
She is survived by four sons, Robert D. Whitworth, Tommy L. Butner, James S. Butner and Floyd M. Butner; four daughters, Hazel N. Paris, Dorothy R. Wilks, Georgia L. Leasure and Vicki L. Butner; three brothers; five sisters; 21 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren; and 12 great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a daughter, Linda L. Baker; two brothers; and two sisters.
Visitation were Saturday, with services at First Mennonite Church, 11 N. 22nd St. Inurnment was private. Mountain View Mortuary, 2350 Montebello Square Drive, 590-8922, was handling arrangements.
