Frances "Vernie" Blair, 75, died Saturday in Williamsburg Village Nursing Home.
Born in Muncie, Mrs. Blair attended local schools. She lived in Florida until February, when she moved to the nursing home.
She formerly worked for Ball Brothers (now Ball Corp.) and for Ball State University.
Survivors include three daughters and two sons-in-law, Vicki and Eugene Shields, Muncie, Phyllis and Paul McGinnis, Selma, and Loretta Blair, Port Charlotte, Fla.; three sisters, Mary Stewart and Lucille Wyatt, both of Muncie, and Louise Davenport, Houston, Texas; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in Parson Mortuary-Adams Chapel. Burial will be in Elm Ridge Cemetery. Calling is 6-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
