Mrs. Claudine Bridges, 89, went home to be with her Lord on Friday December 16, 2005. Visitation is from 5 until 8 p.m. today at Chancellor Funeral Home of Florence. Services are Tuesday at 11 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with burial in the Lakewood Memorial Garden South in Jackson.
A native of Copiah County, MS. Mrs. Bridges grew up in the Harrisville/Florence Area. She has lived back in Florence for the past 25 years, coming from South Jackson. She was a seamstress for Gayfers and an active member of First Baptist Church of Florence. Her husband, Byrd R. Bridges, precedes her in death.
Survivors include her daughters Judy Pennock and Brenda Creech of Florence; son Rusty Bridges of Richland; brother Arlis Moorehead of Mendenhall; eight grandchildren and ten great grandchildren.
Memorial may be made to First Baptist Church of Florence building find; 102 East Main St.; Florence, MS 39073.
