Sharon Carlson, 63, entered into the presence of her Savior on Friday, January 3, 2014. She personified what it meant to love God and to love others. Sharon believed that serving others was the highest calling a person could ever receive. When Sharon saw a need, she either filled it herself or saw to it that the need was filled by whatever means were available. Family was of the highest importance to Sharon and her greatest joys were spending time with loved ones and corresponding with friends and family who lived out of town. Of all the joys in her life, none gave her more pleasure from a young age than singing with her sisters known locally as The Moore Trio. Sharon blessed countless lives with her ministry in song and all who knew Sharon were rewarded by her presence and loving spirit.

She is survived by her son, Ed Carlson (Jennifer); brother, Ronnie Moore; sisters, Debbie Elton-Reel (Charles), Carol Bub (Rick), and Joy McCloud (Russell); grandchildren, Maddy, Cade, Amanda, Josh; and numerous nieces and nephews who will miss her greatly.

A celebration of life will be held in her honor at Johnson's Mortuary on Thursday, January 9, 2014 at 10:00 a.m.
