Anna Louise Moore, 77, of 206 N. Flint St., Lincolnton, N.C. died Nov. 3, 2009, at Gaston Memorial Hospital, Gastonia, N.C.
She was born in Washington, D.C. on April 13, 1932, the daughter of the late Carl and Lila Bess Shipp. She was married to the late Rev. James Gray Moore. She attended public school in Washington, D.C. and was a member of the Church of Christ. She retired from Leslie Faye.
Funeral services will be Sunday, Nov. 8, at 3 p.m. at Ebony & White`s Funeral Service with burial to follow in Midnight Cry Cemetery.
Survivors are seven sons, Maurice (Beth) Moore, Bernard (Delphine) Moore, Gary (Valerie) Moore, Carlos Moore all of Lincolnton, N.C, Rodney (Andrea) Moore of Maiden, N.C, Arnold (Rebecca) Moore of Jacksonville, Fla., Dr. James G. (Theresa) Moore of Columbia, S.C.; two daughters, Iretha Moore of Maiden, N.C., Tammie (Nathaniel) Bailey of Long Island, N.Y.; two brothers, Thomas Shipp of Alexandria, Va., Charles (Rena) Shipp of Tappahannock, Va.; one sister Caretha Fletcher of Washington, D.C.; 25 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren.
