Marilyn Sue (Moore) Weatherly, 73, of Naples, FL, formerly of Atlanta, GA, died on Wednesday, March 4, 2009 at Naples Community Hospital following a lengthy illness.

She was born in Harvey, IL on June 29, 1935, the daughter of Lyman and Alberta (Macy) Moore.

Mrs. Weatherly attended Knox College and graduated from Presbyterian-St. Luke School of Nursing, receiving her B.A. degree in nursing and became a registered nurse. She was a member of Delta, Delta, and Delta Sorority.

Marilyn and her husband, Jim moved from Atlanta, GA to Naples in 1987. She was an avid golfer and a member of the Wyndemere Country Club.

Survivors include her beloved husband of 49 years, James O. Weatherly; two sons, James Lyman (Kelly) Weatherly and William O. (Lesley) Weatherly; and five loving grandchildren.

A private family service will be held in Atlanta, GA at a later date.
