LIVINGSTON – Willie Fay Moore, 85, died Monday, Oct. 30, 2006, in Woodland Heights Medical Center in Lufkin.
She was born June 30, 1921 in Burke, the daughter of Essie Ivy Townley and Tommy Wayne Ivy. She was preceded in death by her mother, Essie Townley; father, Tommy Wayne Ivy; stepfather, Steve Lewis Townley; husband, Charles Moore; son, Sam Ivy "Trigger" Moore; granddaughter, Amanda Brooke Moore; grandson, Hunter Barrett Moore; sister, Bessie "Sis" White and brother, Talley Ivy.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Nora and William Albracht of Grenville, N.M.; sisters and brothers-in-law, Evelyn and Melton Durant of Jacksonville, Becky and Cecil Bobo of Livingston and Etta and Ed Smith of Livingston; brother and sister-in-law, Steve and Myrlie Townley of Livingston; grandsons, Ted Albracht of Austin and Michael Albracht of New Orleans, La.; granddaughters, Amy Albracht of Brooklyn, N.Y. and Lisa Albracht of Austin and daughter-in-law and husband, Elna and Bennie Marsh of Livingston.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, Nov. 1, at the Church of Christ, with Lindell Mitchell officiating. Burial followed in Forest Hill Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mark Townley, Bill Townley, Steve Smith, Brad Ehrlich, Bruce Durant, Buck Durant, Stewart Durant and Buddy Fletcher. Honorary pallbearers were Johnnie Loftin and J.C. Fenter.
Memorials may be made to the Moore Family Scholarship Fund at LISD Scholarship Fund, P.O. Box 1297, Livingston, TX 77351 c/o Joyce Dryman.
Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
