Courtney Lea Moore, 22, of Chattanooga, died on Saturday, June 7, 2008 at a local hospital.
Courtney was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church and the Synod Youth Ministry. She was a current student at Chattanooga State and had graduated from Red Bank High School where she was active in the ROTC program.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Helen Nichols and E.L. Moore.
She is survived by her parents, E. Brian and Paula Moore; brothers, Michael and Brandon Moore; grandparents, Herb and Caryl Warnemuende; uncles and aunts, Craig Warnemuende; Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Warnemuende; Mr. and Mrs. Shirley Brown; Mr. and Mrs. W.C. Smith; many cousins and friends.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. on Wednesday, at Trinity Lutheran Church in Hixson with Pastor Gary M. Schimmer officiating. Interment will follow at Chattanooga Memorial Park.
The family will receive friends for visitation on Tuesday from 4-8 p.m. at Trinity Lutheran Church, 5001 Hixson Pike, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
