Mrs. Harry Crawford
Mrs. Eugenia Moore Crawford, 86, widow of Harry Crawford, died at her home at 807 Mississippi Ave. at noon yesterday.
She was born in Columbus, Ga., Dec. 1, 1870, the daughter of Mrs. and Mrs. William Anderson Moore. Her parents moved to Chattanooga in 1884 and were among the first to settle in the area north of the Tennessee River, in what was to be known as Hill City.
She is survived by a son, H. A. Crawford, of Emmaus, Pa., two daughters, Mrs. Clyde P. Schlesinger Sr. and Mrs Helen E. Dilley, both of Chattanooga; three grandchildren, Clyde P. Schlesinger Jr. of Chattanooga, Wayne E. Schlesinger of Houston, Tex., and *Mrs. Francis E. Morgan of Miami, Fla.; 10 great grandchildren, Linda, Gerrol and Cindy Schlesinger of Chattanooga; Wayne Jr., Sandra, Lynn and Susan Schlesinger of Houston and *Frank, Louise and Anita Morgan of Miami.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the chapel of Wann-Chapman Funeral Home. The Rev. T. Perry Brannon will officiate.
Interment will be in Forest Hills Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be W. F. Gamble, J. A. McCallie, O. F. Reynolds, Kenneth White, L. M. Williams and F. K. Chapman.
*Errors: Louise Morgan of Miami is not a grandchild of Eugenia.
807 Mississippi Ave. was the home of Clyde & Frances Crawford Schlesinger, where Eugenia lived in her later years.
