Clara Loretta Moore Graves, 68, died at 10:15 AM Thursday, March 4, 1999, in her Lafayette residence. Born Jan. 20, 1931, in Tippecanoe County, she was raised at Colfax, and was a resident of Tippecanoe County for most of her life. She married Kenneth F. Graves on Sept. 25, 1948, at Lebanon; he survives. Mrs. Graves worked at Green Giant for seven years. She formerly was a waitress at Holiday Inn South for 15 years.
Surviving with her husband are three daughters, Connie Hart, Thelma Casad, both of Lafayette, and Rita Williams of Kokomo; two brothers, Richard Moore of Colfax and John Moore of Brownsburg; a sister, Mary Kubley of Merritt Island, FL; four grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by eleven brothers and two sisters.
