Andrew D. Moore, 77, R.R.10, Kessler Addition, died at 4:15 a.m. at the Decatur County Memorial Hospital after having been in failing health two years.

Mr. Moore was born May 24, 1899, in Rush County and his parents were W. T. and Alma (Watson) Moore. He was married to Helyn Moore June 30, 1924, in Rushville and she survives. He was a member of the First Christian Church of Greensburg, of the Masons, and of the Scottish Rite in Indianapolis. He had lived in Greensburg for 50 years and was a state auditor.

Surviving with the widow are two sons, the Rev. Richard Moore, Kentland, and Larry Moore, Bargersville; a daughter, Mrs. Don (Catherine) Debusk, Hartsville; two brothers, Earl Moore, South Bend, and Harold Moore, Knightstown; a sister, Mrs. Frank (Thelma) Henthorn, Indianapolis; and seven grandchildren. he was preceded in death by four brothers, Charles, Ed, Loren and Howard and by a sister, Lou Noris.

Funeral services will be at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Gilliland-Howe Funeral Home with the Rev. Charles Strickler officiating and burial will be in the East Hill Cemetery in Rushville. Visitation will begin at 2 p.m. Friday.
