Three sisters, Mary A. Moore, Dorothy Moore, and Arabella Moore and two brothers, Gilbert Moore and Junior Moore preceded her in death.
She accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized as a member of Union Grove Baptist Church, Keswick, VA. She loved gardening and cooking special meals for family members.
She leaves to cherish her memory two sons, Forrest A. Johnson, Sr. and wife Felicia of Troy, VA and Edward L. Johnson and wife, Dabeiba of Keswick, VA; two daughters, Doris M. Dillard of Charlottesville, VA and Barbara J. Johnson of Keswick; one brother, Alexander Moore of Keswick, VA; three sisters, Henrietta Walton of Keswick, Nancy Moore of Charlottesville and Lottie Smith of Keswick; seven grandchildren, Vatasha Dillard Scott, Forrest A. Johnson Jr., Dabrina Johnson, Joshua A. Johnson, Darius A. Johnson, Lacy V. Johnson, and Tiffany M. Johnson; six great grandchildren and a host of other relatives and friends.
A loving and devoted mother that never stopped giving; we cherished the love that was blessed upon us! Thank you Jesus.
Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, December 7, 2005 at the J. F. Bell Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kendrick Edwards officiating. Interment will follow at Oakwood Cemetery.
There will be no public viewing.
