Dorothea Allen was born March 10, 1914, in Fort Worth and was a lifelong resident. She was a member of University United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was very loving, caring and giving to all. She loved unconditionally and gave of herself and her wordly possissions so that her family might be happy and safe. She will be greatly missed, but we all know her suffering on earth is over and she is in a better place with those she loved who went before her. We can only look to the time we will be united again.
The family would like to thank the staff of Barton House for making Dorothea's final days as meaningful and comfortable as possible. They were so very kind and supportive to the family. Also, thank you to Community Hospice of Texas for their kindness to the family, but especially their care of Dorothea.
Dorothea Allen was preceded in death by her husband of 57 years, Clyde Allen, in 1991; grandson William Hearne in 1998; parents, Thomas and Emma Moore; and brohter, T.F. Moore.
