Mildred May Gifford, 82, died Aug. 20, 2006, at her home. She was born in North Smithfield, RI, and lived in Lakeland for one year, moving from Barefoot Bay.
She was a homemaker and caregiver.
Survivors include her daughters, Carol Ann Peabody, of Ayer, MA, Priscilla Keisling, of Wallum Lake, RI and Barbara-Lee LeFrancois, of Lakeland; son, Daniel Eric Gifford, of Navarre; brothers, Paul Moore, of Pascoag, RI and Herbert Moore, of Moncks Corner, SC; 15 grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren; She was preceded in death by her husband, Weston Briggs Gifford.
