Bessie (Moore) Kelley, 92, of McAlester, died Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at a local nursing center. Born Feb. 6, 1920, in Stuart, she was the daughter of Isaac Elijah and Janie Isabell (Watkins) Moore. She married Jewell Kelley on March 28, 1942, in McAlester. She was a seamstress for Seampruf (Komar and Sons). She was a member of the Northtown Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, quilting, sewing, making cinnamon rolls, fishing, cards, dominos and her grandkids. Survivors include her children and spouses, Gene and Alma Kelley, of Cozumel, Mexico, Jim and Daisy Kelley, of McAlester, Roger and Ava Kelley, of McAlester, and Carol Kelley, of Savanna. Also, grandchildren and spouses, Robin Klusak, Angelia Wilson, Kelly Johnson, Sherry Gardner, Lori Schiefen, and Brad Rockey, Rodney, Mike, David, Chris, Craig and Clark Kelley; 26 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren, and one brother and sister-in-law, Morris and Sue Moore, of Moore. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Jewell Kelley; brothers, Doyle, Eldred, Jessie and Junior Dale Moore; sisters, Orphan Cummins and Doris Moore, and grandsons, Tracey and Brian Rockey. Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at Northtown Church of Christ with Kevin Kasparek officiating. Burial was at Pryor Cemetery in Stuart. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Brumley-Mills Funeral Home of McAlester. Pallbearers were Rodney Kelley, Mike Kelley, David Kelley, Chris Kelley, Craig Kelley, Clark Kelley and Brad Rockey. Honorary pallbearers were her granddaughters, nieces and nephews.
