Mag Jones, 86, of Proctorville, Ohio passed away Thursday April 19, 2007 in Cabell Huntington Hospital. She was born November 25, 1920 in Gallia County, Ohio, daughter of the late Jessie and Lannie King Moore. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Weldon Jones; six brothers, four sisters, and one granddaughter Elizabeth Darlene Jones. Mag was a retired cook of 30 years from Fairland Schools, and was a member of the Windsor Methodist Church and the Red Hat Society. She is survived by two sons John W. and Joyce Jones, and Charles Jones and Nancy Roberts; one daughter Carol Ann and Raymond Gorby all of Proctorville; five grandchildren Tammy Jones, Missy Gorby, Jeff Gorby, J.W. Jones, and Jennifer (Robbie) Ball; three great grandchildren Melissa, James, and Shannon Bolton; one sister Mary Bolden of Proctorville; one brother-in-law Paul Jones of Proctorville; two nieces Treva Hutchinson and Norma Jean Roberts; special friend Lorena Burd; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be conducted 3:00 p.m. Sunday April 22, 2007 at Hall Funeral Home by Pastor Jack Rankin. Burial will follow in Rome Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Saturday April 21, 2007 at Hall Funeral Home Proctorville, Ohio. The family would like to express a special thank you to the staff of Rivers Bend Health Care.
