In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by two sons, John Woodrow Moore and Mark Rives Moore, and by a brother, George Ewart Rives. She was survived by her son, James Edward Moore (Lee); two grandchildren, Eleanor Rives Hotra (Mike) and Mary Wesley Briscione (R.J.); four great-grandsons, Charles Eli Hotra, Henry William Hotra, James Edward Hotra and Robert Barrett Briscione. She was a school teacher for 31 years. She was a member of Farville Christian Church, the Farmville Literary Club, Major Benjamin May Chapter of the DAR, and the Fidelis Beta Chaper of Alpha Delta Kappa. Her memorial service was held at the First Christian Church of Farmville with The Rev. Dr. John Ledford officiating. Family links: Spouse: James Woodrow Moore (1920 - 2003)
