Myra Nell Moor was born Oct 21, 1935 at Yukon, OK to Jack D and Edna Scott. She went to be with the Lord on Oct 27, 2006
Myra moved with her family to Kansas where she graduated from ElDorado High School in 1953. She earned a bachelor of arts in education from Ottawa Univ. Ottawa and a masters degree in library science from Emporia State University Emporia. She was elected to Who's Who in Univiersities and Colleges, She taught elementry and middle school in Kansas and Montana
Myra has been an active member of the First Baptist Church Idaho Falls Idaho this past summer she also assisted with ministry at the Little Church in the Pines in Island Park Idaho
She met Ben Moor at Ottawa Univ and they were married in 1956, they celebrated their 50th anniversary in June this year. The couple has two children Pamela Jeanne Moor, and David Scott Moor.
Preceding her in death were her father and mother and a brother Dr. Jack D. Scott. Surviving are her husband Ben; her daughter Pam; her son, David and his wife Kelly and two grandchildren Joshua and Lauren Moor.
Memorial services will be at the North Baptist Church 413 East Wilson Ottawa.
