June E. Bloomer Obituary June E. Bloomer age 87, of 1909 Golden Grove Quincy, died on Monday, August 4, 2008 in her home. June was born February 25, 1921 in Mt. Sterling, IL a daughter of James and Winniferd (Swan) Moody. She married Kenneth Bloomer in 1970 and he survives. Years ago, June worked at the International Shoe Company and Quincy Paper Box. June was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing and she was an excellent seamstress. Survivors include a son, Kenneth Miller and his wife Laura of Perris, CA; A daughter, Linda Thompson of Quincy; Grandchildren: Michelle Thompson of Charleston, SC; Brigitta Newman of Aline, OK; Amy Platt of Quincy; Daniel Miller of Chicago ; David Miller of California and Debbie Dente of San Diego, California ; 8 Great Grandchildren; A sister, Virginia Reische of Mt. Sterling, IL. Many nieces and nephews also survive. She was preceded in death by her parents and by nine brothers and sisters; Graveside services will be held on Thursday, August 7, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in Quincy Memorial Park by the Rev. George Tomko. There is no visitation, but friends and family are invited to attend the graveside services. Memorials are suggested to Blessing Foundation for HOSPICE .
