Andrew L. Montooth ("D.J. Drew") of Sweetwater passed away Sunday, Oct. 24. He was a true child of God and loved anything to do with music, especially gospel music. He was a very special person loved by all who knew him.
He was 23.
Preceded in death by: grandparents, Ted and Evelyn Montooth and Nick and Nancy Lance.
Survivors include: Mom and best friend-Mary Montooth and special friend, Gary Kyle;
Dad-Mike Montooth and wife, Annette, all of Sweetwater;
Sister-Nikki (Montooth) Yates and husband Willie, of Harriman;
Nieces-Hannah and Laikan Yates of Harriman;
Special aunt and uncle-Jacki and Bill Yates (Jack & Ol' Dad) of Sweetwater;
Special uncle-Leslie Montooth;
Lots of aunts, uncles, cousins and friends, special cousins, Tyler Boggess, Brandon Lance, Chris Robinson, Lil' Allen Moses;
Special friend-Michael Farrell "towman,";
Special former teacher and friend-Edith Miller.
The body is at Sweetwater Memory Chapel where the family will receive friends Wednesday, Oct. 27, from 5-8 p.m. Funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m., Thursday in Sweetwater Memory Chapel with Rev. Fred Wilson and Rev. Johnny Harris officiating. Interment to follow in Sweetwater Memorial Park. Sweetwater Memory Chapel in charge of the arrangements
