Dorothy Montooth of Stanford died Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2006 at Ephraim McDowell Regional Medical Center. She was 76.
Born in Cincinnati on Feb. 22, 1930, she was a daughter of the late Herman Henry and Ethel Mae Dickerson.
She was a homemaker and member of the Assembly of God in Lancaster.
She was the widow of Leonard Montooth.
Survivors include three sons, Herman (and Carol) Montooth and Carl Montooth, both of Ohio, and Dennis (and Margaret) Montooth of Stan-ford; a special friend, Shirley Wilson; nine grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a daughter, Jean Wallace; a brother and two sisters.
Funeral services were Oct. 13 at Spurlin Funeral Home in Stanford by the Rev. Wendell Johnson and Rev. Don Clayborn. Burial was in Brush Creek Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Mike, Dennis, Troy and Billy Joe Montooth, Dale and Brian Johnson.
