Don Earl Montgomery, 67, of Radcliff, KY passed away Thursday, March 12, 2015 at Hardin Memorial Hospital, Elizabethtown, KY.
Mr. Montgomery was retired from the United States Army and a veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a member of V.F.W. Post #10281, Vine Grove, KY and D.A.V. Chapter #156, Radcliff, KY
He was preceded in death by a son, James Montgomery, his parents, Paul & Lois Montgomery, and 1 sister, JoAnn Montgomery
Survivors include:
His loving wife, Rosetta Montgomery of Radcliff, KY; 3 children, Mark Lillie & his wife, Kim of Tennessee, Mary Shields & her husband, Mark of Radcliff, KY, Jennifer Gilbert of New York; 5 grandchildren; 1 brother, Loren Montgomery & his wife, Inga of New Mexico.
Mr. Montgomery’s funeral service will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at the chapel of Coffey & Chism Funeral Home, Vine Grove, KY. Burial with military honors will follow in the Kentucky Veterans Cemetery Central, Radcliff, KY.
Visitation will be at Coffey & Chism Funeral Home on Tuesday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM and after 9:00 AM on Wednesday. A V.F.W. service will be held at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home.
