Florence May 11 — Funeral services for Gordon Monroe, who died Sunday at Harrisburg, Pa., will be held at 1 p. m. Wednesday at the home of his brother, Clark Monroe, and interment in charge of B. A. Sanborn & Son will be made in Forest Hill Cemetery, Utica.
Mr. Monroe was born in Corinth, July 28, 1878, a son of Isaac and Lamoile Walbridge Monroe. He lived here until 25 years ago when he went to Harrisburg where he was employed. He was a veteran of the Spanish American War.
Besides his brother mentioned, he leaves a son, Clifford, San Diego, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Albertina Clunnis and a niece, Mrs. William Woolfe, both of Florence.
