Carol Ann Molloy, age 68, of Lower Paxton Township passed away Thursday, October 20, 2011 at her home. She was born in Portage, Cambria County, Pennsylvania on Dec. 21, 1942. She was preceded in death by her father, Elmer C. Wareham, Jr.
Carol was an RN and also served as a juvenile Probation Officer for Dauphin County. She attended St. Andrew in the Valley Episcopal Church and was a member of the VFW, Post 9369 Ladies Auxiliary; the American Legion, Post 730 Ladies Auxiliary. Carol was a proud volunteer puppy raiser for the Susquehanna Service Dogs.
She is survived by her husband, Kevin J. Molloy; her mother, Reba B. "Stombaugh" Wareham of Bellefonte, Pa.; two sons, William G. Stoner, Jr., of Huron, Ohio; Scott A. Stoner of Hummelstown, Pa.; a daughter, Sandra J. Jeffery of Bloomsburg, Pa.; step-daughter, Denise McFarland, of Tavares, Florida; two brothers, Kenneth (Skip) Wareham and Thomas Wareham both of State College, Pa., twelve grandchildren, Kaitlin, Adam, Sarah and Emily Jeffery; Chelsea, Alexis, Kaylee, Zachary, Erin Stoner; Mark, Brennan and Kelly McFarland.
Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, October 25, 2011 at 11:00 a.m., in the Jesse H. Geigle Funeral Home, Inc., 2100 Linglestown Road, Harrisburg, Pa., with the Rev William Alford officiating. A viewing will be held in the funeral home on Monday, October 24, 2011 from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. Burial will be in Indiantown Gap National Cemetery, Annville, Pa., at the convenience of the family.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate memorial donations to the Susquehanna Service Dogs, 3700 Vartan Way, Harrisburg, Pennsylvania 17110.
