Died Thursday, April 5, 2012 at Annapolis Hospital, Wayne, MI. She was born March 3, 1937, in Baldwin, Michigan, the daughter of Howard and Glorine (Springer) Mohler. On January 26, 1957, she married Charles L. Axford Sr. and he preceded her in death on March 1, 1990. Joyce retired from Ford Motor Co. (Saline Plant) after 26 years of service. Survivors include five children, eight grandchildren, one sister, and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and one brother. Funeral service will be held Monday, April 9, 2012 at 1:00 p.m. at the Janowiak Funeral Home with Pastor Rocky Barra of Connection Church, Canton, Michigan, officiating. Burial will follow in Union-Udell Cemetery, Ypsilanti Twp., MI.
