Joseph F. Mohler,78, Rt. 7, died Sunday afternoon at St. John's Hospital after an extended illness. Born in Richland Township, he had lived here all of his life. He was previously employed at Dietzens and Golden Crust bakeries and for the past 24 years was actively engaged in farming. Surviving with the wife, Elizabeth are two children, Joe Mohler, Anderson and Mrs.Jim ( Mariam ) Mudd, Naples, Fla; two brothers, Earl Mohler, Alexandria, and Garland Mohler, Anderson; six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Funeral Home with the Rev. Orland Gibbons officiating. Burial will be in Anderson Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the Madison County Cancer Society.
