Sharon A. Bandow was born on a farm in rural Schleswig, Iowa, April 21, 1946, the daughter of Robert M. and Violet Friedrichsen Moeller. She was raised on the farm and was baptized and confirmed at the United Church of Christ in Schleswig. She received her education in the rural schools near her home and Schleswig High School before moving to Denison where she graduated with the class of 1964. On June 3, 1967, Sharon was united in marriage with Charles Bandow at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison and they made their home on a farm southeast of Denison. Sharon was employed as a secretary at Zion Lutheran Church in Denison, the Raun and Franck Law Firm and with Marge's Bookkeeping. For the past 25 years she had operated her Public Records Reporter business. Some of Sharon's favorite things included anything purple, collecting mushrooms, and especially following the activities of her nieces and nephews and their families on Facebook. She enjoyed her memberships in West Central Collectors Club, Tractor Club, Genealogy Club, Denison Alumni Association, SNAP neighborhood club which stood for Scissors, Needles and Pins, having held many offices in those organizations, and was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Denison. Including her parents, Sharon was also preceded in death by two brothers, Robert J. Moeller and Richard Moeller and one sister, LaMae Miller. Those remaining to cherish her memory include her husband Charles Bandow of Denison, Iowa; mother-in-law, Dorothy Fritz of Denison, Iowa; two sisters: Charlene Iversen of Vail, Iowa, and Maxine Hansohn of Bettendorf, Iowa, nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews, other relatives and friends.
