Henrietta M. Mocherman, 90, died Saturday, Jan. 31, 2009, at George C. Forsythe Hospice House in Auburndale, Fla.
Henrietta had been living at Swiss Village in Winter Haven, Fla., the past 25 years.
She was born Sept. 27, 1918, in Hamilton, Ind., to Harris and lzola Teegardin Dirrim. She and Donald Mocherman were married Oct. 17, 1937, in Williams County, Ohio. He died Sept. 9, 1990.
Henrietta was a 1936 graduate of Edon High School. She was office manager more than 50 years at Don Mocherman Realty in Montpelier, Ohio.
She was active in bowling circles, a longtime member of Montpelier BPW, Lake Alfred First United Methodist Church, Lake Alfred, Fla., St. Paul United Methodist Church of Montpelier, very active in social activities at Swiss Village Retirement Center, former treasurer of Swiss Village Homeowners Association and bingo diva of Swiss Village.
Survivors include two sons, Roger (Beckey) Mocherman of Cape Girardeau, Rod (Lyndal) Mocherman of Scottsdale, Ariz.; a daughter, Kay (Bill) Hebblethwaite of Logan, Ohio; nine grandchildren, Matt (Jean) Mocherman, Mark Mocherman, Douglas (Kelli) Mocherman, Andrea Lynn Mocherman, Michael (Michele) Hebblethwaite, Carla Gross, Steven (Kellie) Hebblethwaite, Nancy (Russ) Holbrook and Johanna (Michael) McIntosh.
Also 12 great-grandchildren, Jack, Luke, Sam, Morgann Lee, Jake and Douglas Mocherman, Nicholas and Tyler Hebblethwaite, Ana Gross, Logan Holbrook, Clara and Collin McIntosh; a sister, Elaine (Cliff) Brown of Sandusky, Ohio; and a brother, Duane Dirrim of Hot Springs Village, Ark.
She was preceded in death by two grandchildren, Michele and Teresa Mocherman; a daughter-in-law, Mary Jane Mocherman; and a brother, Walter Dirrim.
Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Thompson Funeral Home in Montpelier.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, with the Rev. Bruce A. Tumblin officiating. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery in Montpelier.
