PORTAL, Ga. — Mrs. Ann Mixon Dailey Allen, age 62, passed away on Friday, August 24, 2012, at the Ogeechee Area Hospice Inpatient Facility, surrounded by her loving family. The native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County was a 1967 graduate of Portal High School. She was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by parents, Wardell and Sadie Mixon; three brothers, Ronald Mixon, Billy Mixon and Steve Jackson; a sister, Chris Daniels; and her first husband, Charles Dailey.

A loving wife, mother and grandmother, Ann had a special gift for gardening and making crafts. Her most special gift was the out-pouring of love she had for her family.

Surviving are her husband of 38 years, Dayton Allen of Portal, Ga.; a daughter, Dee Dailey of Portal; a son, Kevin Allen of Portal; a grand-son, Cade Allen of Portal; her brother-in-law, George Daniels of Portal; and two special nephews, Ken Daniels of Register and Brian Daniels of Portal.

The funeral service be held on Sunday at 2 p.m. at Oak Grove Baptist Church. Interment will be in the Oak Grove Baptist Church Cemetery.

Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
