Clarence Mitchell, who resided on a farm east of Waverly, died suddenly Saturday night, shortly after 8:00 o'clock, at the Mitchell Feed Store in Waverly, death being due to a cerebral hemorrhage. He was 55 years of age at the time of his death.
Deceased was the son of the late Edward and Anna Challans Mitchel, and was born September 3, 1895, on the farm where he spent his entire life.
He is survived by two half-brothers, Albert Mitchell of Waverly, and Frank Mitchell, of Joshua Tree, Calif,; also five nieces and one nephew.
Funeral services were held at the Wiese Funeral Home Tuesday afternoon at 2:00 o'clock, Rev. Bronson N. Smith, pastor of the Methodist church officiating.
Burial was in East cemetery.
