Katherine Mitchell Jordan, 88, of Ooltewah, Tn. passed away on Thursday, December 22, 2011.
Mrs. Jordan was born and raised in Cramerton, NC. She was a longtime resident of Smyrna, GA where she was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Smyrna, and moved to the Chattanooga area after her husband passed away.
She was preceded in death by her husband, William Eugene Jordan, Jr.; her parents, Calvin and Susan Mitchell; and 7 brothers and sisters.
Graveside Services will be at 11 AM Monday, December 26, 2011 at Georgia Memorial Cemetery in Marietta, GA with Rev. Paul Rebelo and Rev. Jerry McCurdy officiating.
Surviving are her daughter, Kyle J. Cutsinger and husband, Richard; granddaughters, Laura S. Richey and husband, Robert Jr. and Sadie C. Dicker and husband, Lance; and great-grandchildren, Luke, Sam, Jordan, Taylor and Mattie.
Memorial donations may be made to Chattanooga First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ), 650 McCallie Ave, Chattanooga, Tn. 37403.
Arrangements are by the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory and Florist, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn.
