A native of Rock Hill, Mrs. Miskelly was born Jan. 30, 1931, a daughter of the late Robert S. and Kitty Wisher Brooks.
She was retired from Cone Mills and was also employed by Aragon Mills in Rock Hill for over 20 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Martha Carol "Sissy" Nieberding.
Surviving are her husband, William Woodrow "Woody" Miskelly; a son, Robert E. Miskelly of Pageland, S.C.; a daughter, Lynne Miskelly of York; a sister, Joyce Tucker of Rock Hill; six grandchildren, Lisa Doster, Anna Brooke Markease, Joshua David Miskelly, Charlie Kilby, Katie and Allison Nieberding; and five great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday at Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home.
A service to celebrate the life of Mrs. Miskelly will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday in the chapel of Bass-Cauthen Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jerry Devinney officiating. Interment will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery.
