Daugherty, Gladys Marie Miracle – age 88 of Mascot passed away Sunday, October 19, 2008, at St. Mary's Medical Center. Member of Anchor Holds Church. Preceded in death by parents, James and Abby Miracle; husband, Charles Daugherty Sr.; sons, Charles Daugherty, Jr. and Bobby Ray Daugherty; daughter, Judy K. Pruitt; and daughter-in-law, Pattie Daugherty. Survived by sons, Thomas Daugherty and wife Donna, and Marvin Daugherty; daughters, Joyce Collier and husband Bill, Linda Holbert and husband Robert, Elizabeth Taylor and husband Robert, Rosetta Gibson and husband Wayne; daughter-in-law, Patricia Daugherty; brothers, Howard Miracle and Eugene Miracle; sisters, May Miracle and Juanita Saylor; 21 grandchildren; 37 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be 2:00 PM Wednesday, October 22, 2008, in the chapel at Bridges Funeral Home with Rev. Ronnie Dotson officiating followed by the interment at New Gray Cemetery. Grandsons will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 PM Tuesday at Bridges Funeral Home, 5430 Rutledge Pike, 523-4999.
