Otis Minton, 59, Floyds Knobs, died at 12:55 a.m. Friday, Jan. 26, at his home.
A native of Manchester, Ky., born Nov. 24, 1941, he was the son of Milford Minton of Louisville and the late Kizzie Hooker Minton.
He was a project manager for United Dynamics in Jeffersonville.
Survivors besides his father include two sons, Robert Minton of Georgetown and Rick Minton of Elizabeth; a daughter, Tina Decker of Lanesville; a brother, Stanley Minton of New Albany; six sisters, Jerry Stanford of Jeffersonville, Okie Crawford of Indianapolis, Roberta Lee and Mamie Farnsley, both of Georgetown, Cookie Trobaugh of Pekin and Lucy Marsh of Columbus; and 15 grandchildren.
The funeral was Monday, Jan. 29, at Gehlbach & Royse Funeral Home in Georgetown with burial in Edwardsville Cemetery. The Rev. Leland Lockhart officiated.
Pallbearers were Robbie, Michael and Richie Minton, Hank Stevens, Charles Wilson, Jeremy Loftus, David Crawford and Jimmy Able.
