Maxine was born July 7, 1916 in Grand Junction, Colorado to Henry and Pauline Minton. She passed away peacefully September 28, 2009 with family at her side.
She briefly lived in Auline, Kansas before moving to Mtn. View, Calif., where she grew up. She lived at Lake Tahoe and then Auburn.
She was preceded in death by her husband John Willis Anderson and sister Marguerite. She is survived by her son Jon Anderson (Linda); two grandchildren Rebecca (Tom) and Tim (Mitzi); three great-grandchildren Emily, Georgia and Penelope; her sisters Joanne and Jeaneene; her brothers Charles and David; along with several nieces and nephews.
Maxine's china painting reflected her love of flowers and nature. Services will be held at Chapel of the Hills in Auburn, Friday October 2, 2009 at 2 p.m. Maxine will be interred at Alta Mesa Cemetery in Palo Alto, CA.
