Frances Ruth Minnear
Frances Ruth Minnear, 86, of Grand Blanc and former Midland Resident, died Thursday, July 6, 2006 at Genesis Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc. She was born March 15, 1920 in Cameron, W. Va., daughter of the late Joseph and Minnie (Chambers) Moose. On Dec 4, 1937, the former Frances Moose married Jack Minnear in Mount Pleasant. He precedes her in death on Aug 18, 2002. Frances had worked for the Wolverine Shoe Company in Big Rapids over 20 years. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by daughters Sally (Roger) Borousch of Midland and Sandra Martz of Grand Blanc; grandchildren, Regina (Chris) Curtis of Midland, Barrett (Lynnette) Borousch of Sansford, Angela (Steven) Hubbard of Clemons, North Carolina, Scott (Rebecca) Martz of St. Louis, Missouri, Tim (Lara) Minnear of Hudsonville; great grandchildren, Cameron Curtis and Zachary Hubbard; one brother Richard Moose of Mount Pleasant and daughter-in-law Susan Wenger of Baldwin. In addition to her parents and husband, she is preceded in death by a son Terry Jack Minnear in 1986; brothers Harold and Eugene Moose and sisters Helen Crow, Mae Stipes, Nell McGuffie, and Freda Knight. Funeral and committal services wil ltake place at 11 a.m. Tuesday, July 11, 2006 from the Ware-Smith-Woolever Funeral Chapel, 1200 West Wheeler Street. Mr. Scott Martz will officiate with interment in Midland Memorial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. and on Tuesday form 10 a.m. until time of service.
