Mary H. Milstead, 83, of Alamogordo, died Monday, Feb. 5, 2007, at Casa Arena Blanca Nursing Center.
Mrs. Milstead was born Aug. 7, 1923, in Washington, D.C., to Christopher and Mary Clara (Stunkel) Hutchinson. She retired as a secretary from the American Institute of Architects in Washington, D.C. In 2002 she moved from Washington to Alamogordo.
Survivors include a daughter, Polly White, of Alamogordo; a son, Warren Milstead Jr., of San Francisco; and three granddaughters, Emily White and Morgan White, of Phoenix, and Sarah Milstead, of Alamogordo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Warren W. Milstead, in 2002; two brothers; and two sisters.
Funeral services will be conducted Friday at 10 a.m. at Cedar Hill Funeral Home in Suitland, Md. Interment will follow in Cedar Hill Cemetery.
