Ruth Irene Calvert, 80, of Magnolia Place, Spartanburg, formerly of Gaffhey, died Friday, July 16, 1999.
A native of Cherokee County, she was the daughter of the late Vernon and Ilia Blackwell Millwood.
Survivors include five sons, B.J. Calvert, Robert D. Calvert, Roger Calvert and Tommy Calvert, all of Gaffney, and Lee Calvert of Grover, N.C.; four sisters, Patsy Upchurch, Ellen Henson, Pearl Peeler and Agnes Spencer, all of Gaffhey; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held today at 11 a.m. at Oakland Cemetery conducted by the Rev. Alan Peeler.
The family is at 1102 Hamrick St., Gaffney.
White Columns Funeral Service, Gaffney, was in charge.
