Mills Anderson, 63, wife of Oscar Alfred Anderson, died at seven forty-five a. m. today at the familyhome 3453 Porter, after a heart attack. She had been ill for about a week. Mrs. Anderson was born at Kanosh, Jan. 18, 1879, a daughter of William and Mary Ann Mills. She had been a resident of Ogden for the past 14 years, previous to which time she lived at Layton and Burley, Idaho. She was a member of the L. D. S. church, a Relief Society teacher in the Twenty-Eighth Ward, and a member of Navy Mothers organization. Surviving are her husband; the following sons and daughters: Mrs Leonard Morgan of Layton, HaroldAnderson of Oakland, Calif.; William Anderson, Mrs. DeLay Reynolds, Mrs. James Harvey and Mrs.Lyle Kesenger, of Ogden, James Anderson of Burley, Idaho; Ray Anderson of Honolulu, with theU. S. Navy; 21 grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. Ada Penney, Kanosh. The body is at Larkin & SonsMortuary. -Ogden Standard Examiner, August 31, 1942, transcribed by Rhonda Holton
Funeral services for Mrs. Annie Chelsie Mills Anderson, wife of Oscar Alfred Anderson, will be conducted Thursday morning at eleven o'clock in the L. D. S. Fourteenth Ward Chapel with Bishop Thomas Van Drimmillen conducting. The body may be viewed at the family residence, 3453 Porter Avenue, Wednesday afternoon andevening and Thursday until ten-thirty a. m. Invocation was offered by Peter Teach and benediction by John Perry. Musical selection were furnished by Goldie Florence, Ethel Poulter, George F. Larkin, Marie De Young and Alice Carter. Speakers were T. R. Johnson, Mrs. J. Newey, representing the Navy Mothers club; Horace Garner, andBishop Van Drimmelen. Interment was in Aultorest Memorial Park. James A.
