LANDISBURG - Anna Jeanette (Milligan) Albright, 92, of Landisburg went to be with her Lord on Sunday, February 7, 2010 at home.

She was born October 28, 1917 at Loysville to the late Van B. & Jean Ernest Milligan. She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfred William Albright on April 10, 1992; six siblings, John Milligan, Ernest Milligan, Richard Milligan, Minnie Shull, Marietta Shields, Esther Smith and a grandson, Roger Albright.

She was a homemaker; a loving mother, grandmother; great-grandmother and a member of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church and its Ladies Aid and the Rebekah Lodge. She was a 1936 graduate of Blain High School and played in the New Bloomfield Fire Company Band with her brother John in the 1930's.

She was so patient and always showed kindness and generosity to everyone. She was well known for her cooking and baking, especially chocolate, chiffon and carrot cakes.

Surviving are her children; Gloria J. Richard, Ralph M. Albright, Donna M. Bolze, A. Dean Albright, all of Landisburg, Sue E. Stauffer, Montgomery Village, Md., her siblings; Robert V. Milligan, Edwin C. Milligan, Edna Clark, Martha Loy, Florence Emlet, all of Loysville, 15 grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren and 4 step great-grandchildren.

Services will be held 11:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2010 in the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 800 Falling Springs Road, Landisburg with the Rev. David Peterson officiating.
Viewing will be from 10:00 to 11:00 am Saturday in the church. Burial will be in the Mt. Zion Lutheran Church Cemetery.

Arrangements are being handled by the Nickel Funeral Home, 3626 Shermans Valley Road, Loysville.

In lieu of flowers memorial contributions be made to the memorial fund of Mt. Zion Lutheran Church, 800 Falling Springs Road, Landisburg, PA, 17040. Nickel Funeral Home
