Christine Millet (1957-2010)
Christine Millet was born in Mesa, Arizona to Artimus and Janey Millet on October 30, 1957. She moved to Eugene, Oregon where she raised a family single-handedly. She died on March 4, 2010 of neuroendocrine cancer.
She is survived by her children Deborah Bryan, David Bryan, Rachael and Nick Wolfgang, and Madeline and Timothy Cooper. She is also survived by a grandson, David Robinson, whose presence brightened her final days.
Christine was an artist by nature, and enjoyed writing, drawing, and theater. She was the proprietor of a second-hand childrens' clothing shop, "Reruns for Wee Ones." Her other passions included antiquing and gardening. She enjoyed volunteering for multiple organizations, including Salvation Army, until her illness prevented her from doing so.
Above all else, Christine was dedicated to raising her children. She struggled toward this end with limited resources and against overwhelming odds. For her courage, humor and strength, as well as the gifts of compassion and hope she bestowed upon her children, she will be remembered eternally with respect, gratitude and, above all else, love.
Arrangements made by West Lawn Memorial Park & Funeral Home. Remembrances to Sacred Heart Hospice.
