Born August 24, 1910, in Anna, Illinois, son of the late Tony and Lillian Sprague Miller, he retired in 1973 as a locomotive engineer for the Frisco Railroad Company in Chaffee. He was a member of the First Christian Church in Chaffee and a member of the Chaffee Masonic Lodge 615.
He married Nellie McCulley who preceded him in death.
On Oct. 1, 1947, he married Beryl Wilson Boner who preceded him in death on Feb. 15, 1995.
Survivors include: two sons, Jim Miller and Bill Miller; one brother, Robert Miller; two sisters, Evelyn Barren and Dorothy Seabaugh; and nine grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
Two sons, one brother and one grandson preceded him in death.
Visitation was at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee where services were scheduled with the Rev. Vyron Yount officiating.
Burial followed at the Union Park Cemetery in Chaffee.
